Dear Ms. Strandquist, Thank you for your message. We are pleased that we have been able to donate our used books to Elnora Library. We know that Elnora is not a large community but, according to its library, a pretty nice place to live. That you have a library is a testament to the determination of the local population; we simply wished to assist as we were able.  Libraries - whether a building or a website - are important to us and we use them frequently. Again, thanks for being there for all of Elnora.  If you wish to use our donations on your website, please, you have our permission. Again, thanks for being there when we needed directions and for allowing us, perfect strangers from a 'foreign land,' to sign out a much-used and much-loved book - "Stop The Car!" Bob and Shirley Orrick They gave us about $1000 (retail) in gently used books - many hard cover. Thank you even more to all our regular donators.  Of all our books - about a third are donations.  We really wouldn't be here without you

I am sitting here at my computer processing all the donated books we have received. There are a lot. Thank you each one of you. Sept 6 9:00pm - I just packed up 75 donated books to send to head office in Lacombe for processing. We will see these back in a few weeks. And --- Eileen, Sharon and I have processed in house 129 donated books. That's over 200 books all together - at an average of $10.00 - you, Elnora & area persons, have donated over $2000 to your local library just in this summer and fall. We have also sent 50 books to the Village Office 25cent library (upstairs at their office. Donations and Volunteers - what would we do without them?
